Minnie F. Ellingwood, 75 of Shady Rest Trailor (sic) Court Crawfordsville died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday in Culver Union Hospital. She had resided at Crawfordsville for the past 10 years. Prior to that, she had lived at Wingate and Alamo. Mrs. Ellingwod attended Stateline Methdost Church near Covington. She attended Stateline and Covington schools. She was born Sept 3, 1910 in Vermilion County Ill to Robert and Mary Jane Purple Phillips. She was married to Lloyd A. Ellingwood on Feb 26, 1930 at Covington. He died in 1972.
Survivors include two sons, Bob of Rt 2, Crawfordsville; and Lloyd A. of Olathe, Kan; four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Beverly) Carrell of Wingate; Mrs. Tom (Ilene) Hedrick of Rt 2, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Clyde (Rita) Jones of Rt 7, Crawfordsville and Miss Barbara Sue Ellingwood of Rt 6, Crawfordsvillle 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson; two great grandchildren; one brother and three sisters. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown with Rev. Michael Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday. - kz
